HuckleBerry Play is an interactive, fun-filled indoor playground in Morris Plains, NJ. We offer activities and installations designed for children as young as toddler age and as old as eighth grade. In addition to open play, we also host parties and winter, fall, and summer camps. We take safety seriously, regularly sanitizing the entire property and inspecting all equipment to ensure safety. How do I book a party or reserve a slot?
We make the process as simple as possible. We offer three packages for parties and an easy booking process. All you need to do is contact our team, and we will help you choose the best option for you and your child.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, as well as cash and checks.
What is the deposit amount for party packages?
It depends on the party package. We ask that you ask our team members for specifics when you call to book your party. We are transparent and upfront, so you will receive the right information.
Are children and adults required to wear socks?
Sanitation is important to our team, so it is mandatory to wear socks throughout your stay with us.
Is it okay to bring outside food?
Outside food and beverage are prohibited except for parties where you can bring your birthday cake. We have a café with plenty of dining and drinking opportunities.
Can I bring my party decorations?
Nobody knows your kid like you! Part of our party packages include signs and decorations, but you are free to add to our impressive spread.
Can my kids use the entire facility during a party?
If you purchase the deluxe party package, you and your guests can explore both sides of the facility. However, the basic and signature packages will limit you to one side.
What dining options come with the party packages?
All parties include pizza and drinks. We offer catering if you want something else for the adults in the room. Just contact us, and we’ll provide you with options.
How safe is Huckleberry?
We are serious about providing children with a safe space to explore, learn, and get physical activity. We do so by employing dedicated team members and training them well. We also take full advantage of available technology by using internal video surveillance to ensure security and safety. Common Party FAQs
What is included in the party package?
Each party includes personalized planning and coordination to create a unique and memorable experience. You’ll have a private 2-hour event, which includes 1 hour and 15 minutes of open play followed by 45 minutes in a decorated party room for food, cake, and celebration. We provide themed decorations and table settings, pizza, juice, and water for the children, as well as a custom digital mural featuring the birthday child. A dedicated party host will assist with setup, cake cutting, cleanup, and more—so you can relax and enjoy the day.
How do I book a party?
To get started, visit our website and fill out the party inquiry form under the “Parties” tab. After submitting the form, our party manager will contact you to discuss your request in more detail. You’re also welcome to visit us in person to complete the form. A 50% deposit is required to secure your date.
Are balloons included?
Yes, we provide basic helium balloons for each table. If you’d like something more elaborate, we offer premium balloon add-ons like themed bouquets, spiral columns, and arches.
Can we bring outside food?
We do not allow outside food. However, we are happy to work with our catering partners to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergy needs. Just let us know in advance.
Is the host family included in the headcount?
Yes, the host family is included in the total guest count, which helps us manage capacity and setup accordingly.
What if elderly guests do not participate in playground activities?
All guests, including non-participating adults such as grandparents, are counted toward the overall headcount due to our facility’s occupancy limits.
What happens if we exceed the headcount?
Additional charges will apply for each guest beyond the package limit. If the total number exceeds the room’s maximum capacity, you may need to upgrade to a larger package or reserve additional space.
Can additional party time be purchased?
Yes, extra time may be available depending on our schedule. Please ask about availability when booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations due to illness or weather are eligible for a party credit that can be used within one year. The credit applies to future party bookings only and cannot be used for open play or other services. Please note that party deposits are non-refundable.
Can we tour the facility before booking?
Yes, you can schedule a tour in advance. If the party manager is unavailable, our front desk staff will be happy to show you around and answer any questions.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept cash and credit card payments. A 3.99% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions.
What age range is the facility suitable for?
Our play space is ideal for children ages 0 to 11 and features a variety of activities designed to promote both gross motor skills and imaginative play.
Do you allow walk-ins for parties?
Yes, walk-ins are allowed depending on availability. We space out party times to maintain a pleasant experience, but we recommend booking in advance to guarantee your preferred time slot.
Can we continue to play after the party concludes?
Unfortunately, re-entry is not allowed once your party ends, as we need to reset and prepare for the next group.
